Can this find sensitive text in a scanned image?
Do not rely on text matching to find words embedded only in an image. This tool searches PDF text, so image-only pages need a different redaction workflow.
Is redaction the same as adding a black rectangle?
No. A drawing can leave the original text underneath. Redaction removes matched page content, but you must still review the output for other sensitive information.
